The Grading For Equity Project met for the year’s final meeting in April. At this session, ten teams of administrators and teachers from across the county came together to reflect on the work they have been doing for the last three years. They collectively tackled problems of practice and strategized about how to scale these strategies school-wide.
This spring Santa Cruz County College and Career Collaborative (S5C) hosted the School Counselor Symposium with over 100 counselors, the final all-county Grading for Equity convening, and postsecondary visits for every 7th-grade student to UC Santa Cruz or CSUMB.
