We were thrilled to host our 4th annual CS Community Night and Playground at the MAH on December 7. This community night was designed to celebrate Computer Science Education Week, an annual call to action to inspire K-12 students to learn computer science, advocate for equity, and celebrate the contributions of students, teachers, and partners to the field.
Over 100 attendees flocked to the MAH to celebrate Computer Science, engaging in both plugged and unplugged activities. Our community responded tremendously this year, and we welcomed record numbers of students, families, educators, and community members to our event. A huge shout-out to all our volunteers for their amazing assistance, and to the Cookie Brigade who baked those amazing cookies!
Pajaro Valley Unified School District made this double the fun! We had the privilege of connecting with the Tech Team at PVUSD and cheered them on as they organized their own CS Community Night on December 5 at Watsonville High. It was an honor to connect with the talented folks at PVUSD and share ideas while we planned our events. We are thrilled with the partnership and look forward to many collaborations with PVUSD in the future.
