Our school sites have started to partner with Safe RX to provide engaging and relevant information regarding the opioid crisis.
This month we have teachers, administrators, and students participating in various LGBTQ+ events and learning opportunities. Our new Teachers on Special Assignment (TOSA) have been working across our sites to partner with our instructional staff to improve student academic support, positive outcomes, and engagement. Kristen Ericksen is our Curriculum and Instruction TOSA. Barbara Huebner is our Multilingual TOSA, who has been connecting individually with teachers to review language acquisition progress and discuss and implement needed supports.
Overall our enrollment across our programs is up this year compared to last.
