“Ending the Silence” Program for Schools

Ending the Silence for Students is a 60-90 minute presentation designed for middle and high school students that includes warning signs, facts and statistics, and how to get help for themselves or a friend.

As a result of participating in Ending the Silence, Santa Cruz County teens said they will:

“Ask for help if I need”

“Speak up more”

“…talk to my family or friends when I have a problem or concern”

“do more things that make me happy”

“Tell an adult if I am getting symptoms.”

“Pay attention to others and try to notice if they are struggling with their mental health.”
