ASIST Workshop: Applied Suicide Intervention Training

ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) is an in-person training aimed to boost our skills in intervention. Most people thinking about suicide don’t actually want to die, but they need help deciding to stay alive. ASIST is an evidence-based, two day workshop that teaches how to intervene and save a life. Over a million people around the world have participated in this award-winning program.

We will be scheduling future trainings throughout 2022 and will develop a waitlist once capacity for this training has been reached. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available and provided by LivingWorks.

*Participation in this training is valued at over $300 per person and is subsidized by Applied Crisis Training and Consulting, Inc., Suicide Prevention Service of the Central Coast, and Santa Cruz Behavioral Health.
