Educator Workshop: Using Literature to Increase LGBTQ+ Proficiency

As part of the Santa Cruz COE’s ongoing LGBTQ+ Cultural Proficiency Equity Initiative, this 90 minute hybrid workshop is ideal for learning more about how to use literature for LGBTQ+ history month in October and beyond. We will showcase our LGBTQ+ book lists organized by grade level as well as our curated curriculum resources. Participating educators will walk away ready to teach an LGBTQ+ Literature lesson to match their grade level.
