Got Pumpkins?

Early Start Students and Families Have a Halloween Get-Together

‘Tis the season for searching for that wonderful pumpkin and making friends!

young child in wagon with pumpkinEarly Start students, with their parents, brothers and sisters, got together at the local Pumpkin Patch.  Fun was had by all!  It was a wonderful opportunity for our little ones to explore the petting zoo, while learning about different colors and sizes of pumpkins.  The day ended with a very successful peanut butter and jelly sandwich picnic.

It was a fruitful time for parents to connect with each other and the Early Start staff.  In attendance were our teachers Susan, Brittany and Amy, as well as our Para-Educators Anne and Esther.  Several team specialists were also able to join us including Monica (Occupational Therapist), Rona (Speech and Language Pathologist) and Ali (Teacher for the Visually Impaired).
