Gratitude for Partnerships in Building Educator Pathways

ed.PATH November Newsletter!

In the newsletter, you will find resources and opportunities to help make a difference!

  • The Reading Instruction Competence Assessment (RICA) is being retired and will no longer be offered after June 30, 2025. The Commission has developed a transition plan for the RICA pursuant to SB 488. New approved options to complete this requirement will be shared in the next newsletter.
  • TUESDAY, November 19th, UMass Global’s Admissions and Financial Advisor Team will facilitate an information session for our Santa Cruz Classified Employee Grant applicants on how to enroll at UMass Global’s Teacher Credential Program.
  • Are you interested in becoming a credentialed teacher? Are you interested in teaching TK, and want to learn more about the new PK-3 ECE Specialist Credential? Are you already enrolled in an Educator Preparation Program but were a classified employee of a Santa Cruz district and wondering if you are eligible for this grant?

The Santa Cruz Classified Employee Grant might be able to help. Contact InJin Jun at ijun@santacruzcoe.org and find out more information!
