The California Department of Education, San Diego County Office of Education, and LivingWorks are offering this free 90-minute Online Suicide Prevention Training available to middle and high school staff and students (ages 13+), students who complete the training can earn 90 minutes of community service hours. The evidence-based training helps participants learn to recognize when a young person might be experiencing emotional distress or having thoughts of suicide, and teaches them how to connect them to professional help. The training will be available for free until June 30, 2023.
