Applications are invited from community members for appointment to a seat on the Santa Cruz County Board of Education representing Trustee Area 4, vacated by the resignation of Edward Estrada effective August 8, 2025.
Applicants must be 18 years or older, be a registered voter, and reside within Trustee Area 4. Interested persons are invited to submit an application addressed to the County Superintendent’s Office, Santa Cruz County Office of Education, 400 Encinal Street, Santa Cruz, CA 95060.
The application can be obtained from the Office of the County Superintendent located at 400 Encinal Street, Santa Cruz, CA 95060, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on the Santa Cruz County Office of Education’s website. All applications must be on file in the Santa Cruz County Office of Education no later than September 12, 2025, at 12 p.m.
