Nonprofit X Academy is raising funds to send the Hephaestus Robotics team of high school students to the MATE ROV World Championship in Kingsport, Tennessee, next month!
On May 4, despite the rain and wind, the Hephaestus Robotics team secured an invitation to the World Championship following a standout performance at the Monterey Bay Regional MATE ROV Competition. The team is part of the Santa Cruz COE X Academy Robotics Clubs, which are open to all high school student in the county at no cost.
