Over the last couple of years, the Santa Cruz COE Social Emotional Learning (SEL) team has been actively collaborating with three focal sites, including Santa Cruz Gardens Elementary in the Soquel Union Elementary School District, to enhance their SEL initiatives and support student well-being schoolwide.
We are excited to share an inspiring 6-minute video titled “Time to Grow,” created by 5th grader Isaac McGilvray. In this heartfelt piece, Isaac celebrates and highlights the unique qualities of his school, offering a touching perspective on the positive impact of his educational environment.
Additionally, we are pleased to announce that Kelvin SEL surveys, utilized by Santa Cruz Gardens and featured in the video, are now available for free to all California schools!
