Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is the process through which all people acquire the skills to understand and manage one’s emotions, thoughts, and values and how they influence behaviors and achieving goals. Skills also include empathy, cultural sensitivity, maintaining healthy relationships, and making constructive choices.
