Graduations
The Special Education Department held its annual Post-Senior graduation at the end of May with four students receiving the Certificates of Completion. The celebration is always a heartwarming event, and this year did not disappoint! Thank you to all the staff members who made the day a success, and a special thanks to our families. What a milestone for their children!
Extended School Year
Our Extended School Year program is underway and will continue through July 7th. We appreciate all of the staff members who volunteered to work this summer!
Welcome our new Student Data Specialist!
We also welcomed our new Student Data Specialist II, Alejandro Martinez. Alejandro is a Santa Cruz local with a passion for students and the organization of data systems. He has already proven to be an asset to the department and we are excited to see his future endeavors and how he streamlines our student data systems. Welcome Alejandro! We are already recruiting staff and making plans for the new school year, which will be here before we know it!
