Surveillance testing available for all school staff
Our districts, the Santa Cruz COE, charter schools, private schools and our public health partners are all working diligently to expand the availability of staff surveillance testing for COVID-19.
Last week, the COE launched a central testing location available to all Santa Cruz County school staff at our office on Encinal Street in Santa Cruz. Several additional sites are up and running at local districts, and through our phased-in plan we soon will be able offer on-site testing for teachers and support staff at most schools throughout Santa Cruz County. Surveillance testing is available at no cost to employees through a partnership with Valencia Labs.
