Teacher Leadership Institute

ABOUT THE INSTITUTE

The County Science Initiative’s Relevant Environmental Action & Learning (REAL) Science Institute provides professional learning and support for collaboration among teachers and environmental education partners focused on equitable, standards-aligned science and environmental literacy programs. Participating environmental education partners and teacher leaders from across the county collaborated on the development of a set of K-12 Lesson Sequences available on the Teacher Leadership Institute (TLI) website along with resources from all Institute learning sessions. In addition to supporting Next Generation Science Standards, the lesson sequences emphasize connecting students nature, social emotional learning and environmental actions projects.
